In regards to the Common Core Standards (CCS), Bright Ideas Press takes the following position.
Bright Ideas Press has not altered any of our materials to align with the CCS and has no plans to do so in the future. Any alignment between our curriculum and CCS is by coincidence.
Our target market is Christian homeschoolers; therefore, we have no need or desire to make our materials fit into any government-established mold. We answer to God and to the families who trust us enough to use our materials in their homes. It is up to those parents to decide if our curriculum is up to their standards.
